Adult Fans Of LEGO • A Blocumentary

A couple years back Caleb and I got a private tour Lego’s US Headquarters for Swindle, and yes it was awesome. While we where there Lego’s expert builders were building this giant Starship Destroyer. This half-hour documentary is about the guys who wish they had that job. Its a good watch full of nerds being nerdy making awesome things with Legos. AFOL A Blocumentary

Paper Craft • Star Wars

This Japanese site has all these cool patterns to make paper models of your favorite Star Wars (and star trek) vehicles, not mention a Back to the Future hover Delorean.
So if you got a few spare hours, print one out and build away.
Example of a pattern after the break.

• Hell’s Angels •

This past fall I got into the FX show Son’s of Anarchy this isn’t surprising
because I have always thought biker gangs to be both bad ass and strangely alluring. This a nice collection of of Hell’s Angles photos many of them taken by
Hunter S. Thompson, collected by rideamoto

Dynamic Duo Dual Disguise

I printed these about two years ago and they have just been sitting in a flat file ever since. I stole this design from a 1960′s era paper Batman mask I bought off of eBay. I love the idea that the shape of Batman’s face can be so easily transformed into that of Robin’s by simply flipping it upside down. Big credit to the anonymous DC artist who came up with this.

Paper Rodeo Ads

Brooklyn’s comics HQ Desert Island as posted a selection of ads on Flickr from the now legendary Paper Rodeo. Drawn by the publishers for the local businesses that supported this free publication, the advertisement pages were always a favorite part of Paper Rodeo.

BMX • Polaroids • 1970′s

1
For years Alex and I would bike around Boston, Alex on his road bike me following on my BMX. These 1970′s Polaroids via defgrip, though older then either of us, remind me of those good old days before everyone was riding track bikes.

This zine is beautiful. I also like the idea that a someone who shoots mostly in black and white would make such a colorful ‘zine.
A few more images after the break.

I’m not sure how I feel about it yet.
Anyhow, it is for an upcoming exhibition we are doing here at Space 1026 featuring the different printmaking processes members use.
Opening March 5th.
